MACY'S HOLIDAY WINDOWS

Updated: Nov 16, 2018

This year, Macy's brings the magic of Christmas through an astronaut named Sunny the Snowpal. She learns that Santa had some problems with his sleigh so she comes to the rescue with her friends, like the Arctic Fox. They help Santa so he can then deliver all the gifts to boys and girls around the globe.

The display is called "Believe in the Wonder of Giving"

Sunny the Snowpal is the brainchild of Roya Sullivan, a truly magical artist who's created this window displays for the last 5 years. This is a quote about this installation (“The windows are set in space, but the gifts of friendship and family are universal. We hope guests of all ages will find holiday joy reflected in our windows.”) She wanted to incorporate an interactive experience through her windows. For instance, the second window comes with a joystick right off the window which will allow you to control Sunny the Snowpal as a video game inside the window. Truly fun for all children.

The entire show was incredibly brought to life with a true feeling of the holidays due to an unexpected snow storm. A beautiful blanket of snow flakes covered the the Big Apple and you could almost hear sleigh bells ringing in the air. A true wonderland experience!

Thank you for watching this and many more or our live broadcasts. Stay tuned for more!!

The event took place on Thursday, November 15th at 6:00 p.m. Than you to all our viewers who tuned in.
